1st writting: Tupai-tupai Restaurant by Muhammad Aqmal

It has been awhile since the last time our family having dinner in a restaurant together, I mean all complete with our grandmothers. Since it is a school holiday, my parents asked us out for a dinner. They invited their mothers to join us since both of their fathers have passed away. We went to Tupai-Tupai Restaurant in Seksyen 13. It is a steamboat restaurant, which is very famous among people who lives in Shah Alam. After we arrived, we sat at our table that parents has booked for us. The waiter came to us and asked to choose our sup it is either tom yam soup or chicken soup, so that they can set up the table with steamboat equipment and put the soup in the bowl of steamboat. After some discussion, we chose both of the soup. It is because my little sister did not eat spicy food so the chicken soup is for her and for others who wanted to taste it. Furthermore, the interesting part about this restaurant is if you choose the buffet set, you do not have to order your food, it is a self-service which means you have to take your seafood, salad and drinks that you want from the counter. But you can also order for side dishes.

Everyone is trying to take their food 

 After everyone has put their seafood in the bowl, we have to wait until the food has cooked and then we can enjoy our food and just repeat the process again. This restaurant has rule, you can take as much seafood, noodle or salad as you want but if you have leftovers, you have to pay RM10 each of 100 grams leftovers. These is to avoid waste of food. Other purpose of this dinner than wanted to spend quality time with family, it is actually to celebrate my little sister’s birthday. She has turned 9 this year. Look at how time flies really fast.

 After we have finished our food, and it is time to go home since it is already 11p.m. It was a great night. Everyone has enjoyed the foods and environment here. We talked, we laugh and we are also full at that moment. Tupai-Tupai Restaurant is a to go to restaurant for family during the holiday.
