LOGAN

I went to Sunway Pyramid on Saturday morning with my friends to watch the new movie that we have been waiting for, which is Logan. We when on the third day of the launching day. When arrived in the cinema, the cinema was almost full since Logan is a movie from the X-Men Franchise.

Well yes, this time the movie is rated as 18+ due to the violence involves in the movie. According to Tanjong Golden Village or known as TGV Cinema, the synopsis of the movie is “Logan is caring for an ailing Professor X in the near future while hiding out at the Mexican border. But when a young mutant arrives, chased by dark forces, Logan`s attempt to hide from the world and his legacy are shattered.”

As I was watching this movie, I am a bit disappointed of the movie. It starts with a slow introduction. For the first 40 minutes, the movie was about Logan being drunk while on work as chauffeur. Logan also taking care of Charles Xavier, who has seizures that can kill but with the help of Caliban, the mutant tracker.

 The conflict started when a nurse, Gabriela, ask him to send her and a girl named Laura to a safe place that was called Eden. At first, Logan did not want to get involve but he needed the money to buy a boat so he took the job. Xavier revealed that actually Laura is  genetically engineered from Logan’s DNA, Laura is basically his daughter.

Along the journey, there are bad guys chasing them and got Xavier killed. The dream of Logan to buy a boat and bring Xavier together has been crushed. I do not want to spoil so much about this movie, but at the end Logan died. If you want to know how and why he died, you have to watch it yourself. I gave 7 out of 10 for this movie.
